Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos was the world’s richest person for less than a day, as Bill Gates reclaimed the top stop within 8 hours.

This was after Amazon weak earnings pushed the company stocks lower on Thursday.

The Sims 4 is Coming to Consoles on November 17

The Sims 4, previously only available to Mac/PC gamers, will be available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 17.

Console players, like PC and Mac players, will be able to create unique Sims, with the ability to change hair color, facial features and more. In Build Mode, you can create your own house with specific decor, and you can interact with other players. You’ll be able to do all the things that the original players could with The Sims 4, and get many of the additional content updates. Players can reportedly expect periodic game updates and extra content releases.

According to TMZ, Kylie sold the idyllic home, which includes a swimming pool and sprawling grounds, to Bellami Hair founder Nick Eslami.

And pictures shown on the real estate's website show the monochrome-themed mansion's luxurious interior.

A peek into the kitchen reveals statement black hardwood floors, and matching kitchen units. 

With a large island taking centre stage, the space flows into  a luxurious dining room, perfect for entertaining.

And the living room follows the black and white theme, with a warming fireplace trumped by a statement Gothic inspired chandelier.

A bedroom sees sweeping rooms of the landscape through the multiple floor to ceiling windows, giving the space a light and airy feel.

Eazi, in a recent interview with a Ghanaian radio station said; ‘I don’t mean to brag but in the past one year in West Africa, I’ve been the second bestselling artiste on Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Tidal … the second best next to Wizkid.’

Eazi has been in the news lately, recall that he opened up on his relationship with Wizkid and the Star Boy brand claiming that he is not signed to the label but rather, he is a business associate.

Does this mean that he has sold more records in the last one year than other Nigerian A-list artiste?

Arrow Season 6 Trailer and New Cast Confirmed!

The CW has released the Arrow Season 6 trailer and dropped some huge casting news at the San Diego Comic-Con. In addition to the return of fan-favorite guest star David Nykl (who plays Oliver Queen’s friend/mentor/nemesis, Anatoly Knyazev), the series can look forward to the addition of a landmark actor from the genre series world: Lost star Michael Emerson. Michael Emerson will join the series in the recurring role of an unnamed mystery character that has yet to be announced.

The CW has released the first The Flash Season 4 trailer, which offers a sneak peek at what to expect from the all-new season. 

In addition, it was confirmed that Neil Sandilands will play the big bad for the new season, The Thinker. Other new additions include Machete himself, Danny Trejo as Breacher, a feared bounty hunter from Earth-19 and father of Jessica Camacho’s Gypsy, plus Kim Engelbrecht as The Mechanic, the right hand of The Thinker.

Ant-Man and the Wasp Comic-Con Poster Revealed!

The Marvel Studios panel has come and gone, but now we’ve received another surprise in the form of the official Ant-Man and the Wasp Comic-Con poster by Andy Park.
Last night, Marvel Studios announced that Michelle Pfeiffer (Dangerous Minds, The Wizard of Lies) and Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix trilogy, John Wick 2) have joined the cast of Ant-Man and the Wasp. Pfieffer will portray Janet Van Dyne, the wife of Michael Douglas’s Hank Pym and the original Wasp. Fishburne will play Dr. Bill Foster, who in the comics is an assistant to both Tony Stark and Hank Pym and who eventually takes on Pym’s Giant Man abilities and becomes known as Goliath.

Confirmed for the cast are Paul Rudd (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Role Models) as Scott Lang, Evangeline Lily (Lost, The Hobbit trilogy) as Hope Pym, Michael Douglas (Falling Down, Basic Instinct) as Dr. Hank Pym, Michael Pena (End of Watch, The Martian) as Luis, David Dastmalchian (The Dark Knight, Prisoners) as Kurt, T.I. (Fast & Furious 6, The Hangover) as Dave, Randall Park (Fresh off the Boat, The Interview) as S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Jimmy Woo, Hannah John-Kamen (Killjoys, Black Mirror, Game of Thrones) as the Ghost, and Walton Goggins (Justified, The Hateful Eight).

Peyton Reed will return to direct Ant-Man and the Wasp, which is written by Transformers: The Last Knight‘s Andrew Barrer & Gabriel Ferrari from a story by Academy Award winner Adam McKay (The Big Short) and star Paul Rudd.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is set for a release on July 6, 2018.

Comic-Con: Fargo’s Noah Hawley Developing a Doctor Doom Movie

To close out the Legion panel at San Diego Comic-Con, series showrunner Noah Hawley left fans with one last tease, unrelated to the FX series but still in the Marvel realm, saying:

“Because I’m at Comic-Con,” the Fargo creator said. “I wanted to let you know about a movie I’m developing for Fox. The first word is ‘Doctor.’ And the second is ‘Doom.’”

Little else is known about the film, but a solo feature for the Fantastic Four villain is a new development for the studio. The Hollywood Reporter adds that Hawley is developing the feature with an eye toward directing. Hawley has no feature film directing credits on his resume but has previously directed an episode of Legion and two episodes of Fargo.

Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Doctor Doom first appeared in The Fantastic Four #5 back in 1962. Victor Von Doom is the tyrannical dictator of Latveria and frequent foil to the Fantastic Four. Doom’s face was scarred in an experiment, though he blames Reed Richards for his face, which has forced him to wear his trademark metal mask.

Doom’s chief ability is his intellect, which is on par with Reed Richards, but he has previously dabbled in magic and has enhanced strength and durability due to his armor. He also employs the use of Doombots, fully functional robots that look just like him and which he controls.

Doctor Doom was previously portrayed by Julian McMahon in the 2005 Fantastic Four and its 2007 sequel, with Toby Kebbell taking on the role in the 2015 reboot and Joseph Culp in the infamous Roger Corman-produced Fantastic Four film.

Comic-Con: New Inhumans Trailer Promises IMAX Spectacle

Straight from the Marvel’s Inhumans panel at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Entertainment and ABC have released the new trailer for Marvel’s Inhumans. 

The legendary comic book series will be brought to life in a way that has never been done before, as a version of the first two episodes will be shown globally in IMAX theatres for a two-week period, beginning September 1, 2017. ABC will then air the entirety of the series throughout this fall on the network, with additional exclusive content that can only been seen on ABC. The TV premiere date for the series will be Friday, September 29 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT).

Marvel’s Inhumans explores the never-before-told epic adventure of the royal family including Black Bolt, the enigmatic, commanding King of the Inhumans, with a voice so powerful that the slightest whisper can destroy a city. After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where they are greeted with surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them. Now they must find a way to reunite with each other and return to their home before their way of life is destroyed forever.

The Krypton Comic-Con Teaser is Here

Syfy has revealed the Krypton Comic-Con teaser for the upcoming DC Comics prequel series, which you can check out below! Krypton premieres in 2018.

Set two generations before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel’s home planet, Krypton follows Superman’s grandfather (Cameron Cuffe, The Halcyon) — whose House of El was ostracized and shamed — as he fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos. The Seg-El name is both a nod to Superman co-creator Jerry Siegel and a reference to John Byrne’s 1980s miniseries, “The World of Krypton.” Cameron Cuffe is set to play Seg-El along with Georgina Campbell as Lyta Zod.

Krypton will be executive produced by David S. Goyer (Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Dark Knight trilogy) through his Phantom Four banner. The pilot teleplay and story is written by David S. Goyer & Ian Goldberg (Once Upon a Time, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles). Krypton will be produced by Warner Horizon Television and is based on characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, published by DC Comics. Damian Kindler (Sleepy Hollow) will serve as executive producer and showrunner.

The Kingsman: The Golden Circle Red Band Trailer!

20th Century Fox has released the new Kingsman: The Golden Circle Red Band trailer, which you can watch in the player below! Underneath, you can watch a Green Band version of the trailer as well.

Stars Taron Egerton, Colin Firth, Halle Berry, Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges and Pedro Pascal will be joined by screenwriter Jane Goldman and Kingsman co-creator and Comic-Con legend Dave Gibbons for the 20th Century Fox panel in Hall H on Thursday July 20th starting at 11 AM PT.

Kingsman: The Secret Service introduced the world to Kingsman – an independent, international intelligence agency operating at the highest level of discretion, whose ultimate goal is to keep the world safe. In Kingsman: The Golden Circle, our heroes face a new challenge. It’s the Dawn of Night on a Gotham Season Four Comic-Con Poster

With the show moving from Mondays to Thursdays this fall, Gotham is gearing up for fourth season on FOX. Now, we’ve learned the title of the initial season four storyline: Dawn of Night. The reveal comes via TV Insider, who premiered a Gotham: Dawn of Night poster that you can check out in full in the gallery viewer below!

Little is known about the upcoming season except that a Harley Quinn-like character is said to play a big role and young Bruce Wayne will be moving further and further toward becoming Batman (which certainly pairs with this new poster and the Dawn of Night subtitle).

Comic-Con International San Diego attendees can get their hands on this Gotham: Dawn of Night poster at the exhibit hall floor’s FOX Booth (#4229). There is also slated to be a Gotham Special Video Presentation and Q&A  on Saturday evening.

The Richest Artists In the World Make 75%+ of Their Money from Touring

Despite the surge in streaming, top artists still make most of their money from touring.

Music streaming has helped major labels post record-breaking revenue.  In its Q1 report, WMG posted over $1 billion.  During the same period, Sony Music reported $1.2 billion.  UMG alone earns $4.5 million a day from streaming.  But despite the rise of streaming in the music industry, the richest artists still make the majority of their cash from touring.

Last week, Billboard published their list of the highest-paid artists in the music industry.  Taking a look through the list, one key fact emerges: the richest artists make over 75% of their money from concerts.

Beyonce: 88%

Beyonce took the top crown as the highest-grossing artist of 2016.  She earned a whopping $62.1 million.  From sales alone, she earned $4.3 million. $1.9 million came in from streaming. Another $1.3 million from publishing.  From touring, however, Beyonce earned $54.7 million. This accounts for slightly over 88% of the total amount that she made in 2016.

The breakdown is even more impressive.  In support of her sixth album, Lemonade, her ‘Formation World Tour’ sold 1.2 million tickets in North America.  Across 32 North American stops, the concert grossed $161 million.  She also made $6.2 million from royalties.  According to Nielsen Music, Lemonade earned 2.2 million equivalent album units in 2016.

Guns N’ Roses: 96%

In second place, Guns N’ Roses earned $670,800 from steaming.  In total sales, the legendary hard rock group earned $771.7 thousand and $499,600 in publishing.  From touring, the group made $40.4 million.  This accounted for nearly 96% of the group’s $42.3 million earned last year.

Bruce Springsteen: 97%

Bruce Springsteen earned just $100,000 less than Guns N’ Roses.  In third place with $42.2 million, Springsteen earned nearly 97% from touring alone.  Bruce Springsteen had 2016’s second highest-grossing tour with $40.9 million brought in.

Drake: 37%

Landing in fourth place, and unlike the first three, Drake didn’t earn the bulk of his money from touring.  The Canadian-born rapper earned a total amount of $37.3 million in 2017.  However, the artist earned millions mostly from audio and video streams, bringing in $23.7 million with royalties included.  Thanks to summer concerts with Future, Drake brought in $13.6 million last year from touring.

Live + Streaming = 73% of Earnings

Billboard’s list continues with Adele, Coldplay, and Justin Bieber, among many other artist and groups.  While streaming leads the way in helping major labels earn record revenue, artists continue making most of their cash through concerts.  In fact, Billboard’s highest-paid artist list confirms a study shared with Digital Music News.  That study showed that live concerts, along with streaming, make up 73% of revenue that the entire music industry earns.

Stream French Montana's 'Jungle Rules'

The Bronx’s French Montana has finally dropped Jungle Rules, his first album since his 2013 debut Excuse My French.MC4 was intended to be his sophomore album last year, but it leaked and Montana instead opted to release it as a mixtape.

Jungle Rules comes following the success of the Swae Lee-featuring “Unforgettable,” French’s highest charting single as a lead artist, peaking at No. 10 on the Hot 100.

Jungle Rules has features on all but five of its 18 tracks. The late Chinx, Max B, the Weeknd, Future, Quavo and Young Thug all make appearances on this stacked release.

Taylor Swift Returns to Instagram to Hype Selena Gomez's 'Sultry' Single 'Fetish'

Few people know the spotlight as well as Taylor Swift, but she's taken a step back from the social-media glare over the past few months, last posting on her Instagram account on May 3 -- more than two months ago -- about Haim's then-new single.

Well, she's back on the photo-sharing site to support her friends again on Thursday (July 13), this time promoting Selena Gomez's new single "Fetish," featuring Gucci Mane.

Swift posted the cover art of Gomez's single along with the caption: "Sultry pop magic from this dreamy almost-birthday-girl."

Soundcloud Has Just 50 days To Live....

Earlier this year, SoundCloud’s co-founder and CEO Alexander Ljung shocked investors and employees with a jaw-dropping statement.  He told investors,

“SoundCloud may run out of cash earlier than December 31, 2017…  These matters give rise to a material uncertainty about the Group’s ability to continue as a going concern.”

Although the service claims more than 175 million users, few have made the switch to premium service SoundCloud Go.  Despite closing two lavish offices in London and San Francisco, and dismissing 173 employees to survive, SoundCloud may not live past fifty days.

After dismissing forty percent of its staff, SoundCloud held an “all-hands meeting.”   Nervous employees, wroteTechCrunch, wanted to know why the company let go of 40% of its staff without any warning whatsoever.  In a video broadcast from its Berlin headquarters, founders Alexander Ljung and Eric Wahlforss made a stunning confession.

The layoffs had saved the company just enough money to operate until “Q4,” which starts in fifty days.  Ljung and Wahlforss also confirmed that they knew months in advance about the layoffs.

An employee at a different office had described the meeting as a “s—tshow.”  Speaking about Ljung and Wahlforss’s statement, he said,

“I don’t believe that people will stay.  The good people at SoundCloud will leave.  Eric [Wahlforss] said something about the SoundCloud ‘family,’ and there were laughs.  You just fired 173 people of the family, how the f—k are you going to talk about family?”

Officially, the company wouldn’t discuss the meeting.  Instead, it said that they were “fully funded until Q4,” incidentally confirming the statement.  Underscoring the company’s poor financial standing, Alexander Ljung said in a positive statement last week,

“By reducing our costs and continuing our revenue growth, we’re on our path to profitability and in control of SoundCloud’s independent future.”

A company spokesperson would only reiterate that the company remains in talks with potential investors.  Deezer has reportedly emerged as a potential buyer.  A source close to discussion talks between both companies said that Deezer is “making a serious run.”  Spotify walked away last year from acquisition talks to focus on its IPO.  Google has yet to present a serious offer.

This year alone, several top executives at SoundCloud have jumped ship.  The company also reportedly beggedGerman investors for a $250 million investment, losing 75% in valuation.  To remain afloat, the company slashed the price of its premium Go+ subscription.  It offered users a premium subscription at just $1 for three months.

Nine additional looks at FOX‘s new X-Men spinoff series have debuted with motion posters that reveal The Gifted characters.

First Look: Juliana Harkavy Suits Up as Arrow’s New Black Canary

Cress Williams Talks Black Lightning’s Powers in CW Series

Speaking with EW, who have revealed a new photo from the upcoming CW series, Black Lightning star Cress Williams opened up about what separates this series from the other CW superheroes, saying:

“What makes it different is that really we’re a family drama. The origin story aside, they don’t have the ties of a family that’s keeping them tied to reality. Our show is also just really dealing with a grass roots superhero who is not trying to save the world, he’s trying to save his community. The fact that he just has the real world ties make it different.”

Williams also spoke about Black Lightning’s powers in the series and what he’s hoping to see show up down the line for the hero:

“We haven’t gotten into flight, which I’m really excited about eventually getting to that. He has the ability to have limited flight, and that’s the superpower I would love to have. He controls all things electrically based, along with martial arts and the hand-to-hand combat thing. Without getting into too much, there are things that the new suit provides that the old suit didn’t. It’ll be very fun, let’s put it that way.”

Warner Bros. Pictures has debuted a new photo from the upcoming Justice League (via Entertainment Weekly) featuring Batman, Wonder Woman, and The Flash all together. Speaking with the outlet, Ezra Miller opened up about playing Barry Allen as he gets called to the big leagues.

Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
