New Mr. Robot Season 3 trailer delivers tense new footage

 

USA Network has revealed a new Mr. Robot Season 3 trailer

Executive producer and writer Sam Esmail will return to direct all 10 episodes of the series, which stars Rami Malek, Christian Slater, Portia Doubleday, Carly Chaikin, Martin Wallstrom, Grace Gummer, Michael Cristofer and Stephanie Corneliussen. Bobby Cannavale, of Boardwalk Empire and Ant-Man, is also set to appear in the series as the new character Irving.

A photocopy of O’Level Examination Certificate(s) (WASCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB) and Birth Certificate or Affidavit of Age Declaration.

NOTE:

Inconsistency in name or picture on Photo Card will not be acceptable to the University and may lead to disqualification of affected candidates. Candidates’ names on their O’Level Certificates, UTME results and other registration documents must be the same.

Candidates must be sixteen (16) years of age and above by October, 2017 to be eligible for the exercise.
Mobile Phones, Ipad, Ipod, Walkman and similar gadgets or any extraneous materials will not be allowed into the Screening Venue and its environs.

Candidates must apply within the Registration period as the online link for the Application Form will be disabled at MID-NIGHT ON MONDAY, 11THSEPTEMBER, 2017.

Candidates must report to the designated Screening Venues at the time scheduled on the Photo Card or risk disqualification.

Davido accused of stealing 'Pere' beat

Davido has been accused of ‘stealing’ the production for his record, ‘Pere’ featuring Young Thug and Rae Sremmund.

The Sony Music singer has been called out by another producer named HOD, of jacking his production without credit and using it without compensation.

Pere’ was released under Sony Music Entertainment International Limited. Its production is credited to DJ Mustard, a popular American record producer, songwriter and DJ from Los Angeles. But HOD claims the production is his. According to him, he made the beat for singer Dammy Krane, a Davido Music Worldwide affiliate, who he claims recorded the song ‘Pere’ in 2015.

“Only for me to press play on Davido’s new song last night and I hear the same fucking song Dammy Krane recorded with me in 2015! Why??” HOD wrote in a series of tweets, which he has since deleted. “How long will upcoming producers be stepped upon? So because I am not known, you gave the song to Davido and my beat to DJ Mustard?

“I have well documented proof by the way. Shame on Sony for not being professional about this too. I’m sure they felt this was just another unknown African producer,” HOD wrote.

HOD who is also a recording artist, has produced records for other Nigerian stars including Olamide, Reekado Banks, Ayo Jay and BOJ, claims he has proof, and has uploaded his unfinished recording with Dammy Krane to Souncloud.

Jay-Z says fall-out with Kanye West was over public Beyoncé jibe

Jay-Z has said his fall-out with ex-best pal Kanye West may never mend – because Kanye criticised his wife Beyoncé in public.

The rapper revealed the track Kill Jay Z on new ­album 4:44 is about the feud. He said: “It’s just the truth of what happened.

“The whole point is, ‘You got hurt because this person was talking about you on a stage.’ But what really hurt me was, you can’t bring my kids and my wife into it.”

In the rare interview on his music service Tidal, Jay-Z added: “Kanye’s my little brother. But you brought my family into it.

“That’s a real, real problem. He crossed the line.”

Kanye told an audience in November: “Beyoncé, I was hurt because I heard you said you wouldn’t ­perform unless you won Video of the Year over me.

Gotham Season 4 Casts Prison Break’s Marina Benedict and More

Gotham Season 4 has gotten some new cast members. Prison Break‘s Marina Benedict has joined the series as Cherry, the owner of a fight club in The Narrows. Her club is reportedly the seat of power in that part of the city, and Cherry will sometimes be a help and sometimes a hinderance. In addition, Benjamin Stockham (About a Boy) has joined the cast as someone who befriends Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz).

Marina Benedict has been seen in Prison Break as the assassin A&W, the Starz series Flesh and Bone as Toni Cannava and in Torchwood as Charlotte Wills. Benjamin Stockham played Marcus in About a Boy and Mark Walton in Lost & Found.

Dangote wants to buy Arsenal and sack Wenger

Nigerian billionaire and President of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, has reiterated his plan to buy English Premier League giants, Arsenal.

Mr. Dangote said he would make an offer to the owner of the club, Stan Kroenke, after completing the new refinery that his group is building in Lagos.

The Kano-born businessman, who is worth £8.6billion, has supported the Gunners since the mid-Eighties.

He told Bloomberg: “The first thing I would change is the coach. He has done a good job, but someone else should also try his luck.”

Mr. Wenger has been the manager of Arsenal for 21 years and is the longest-serving manager of any side in Europe.

Fan protests against his rule rumbled on throughout last season but the Frenchman agreed a two-year contract extension last May.

Mr. Kroenke had earlier this year turned down a one billion pound takeover offer of the club from his fellow shareholder, Alisher Usmanov.

But Mr. Dangote, 60, apparently believes he can persuade the billionaire shareholders.

Spider-Man: Homecoming Box Office Crosses the $300M Mark Domestically

Columbia Pictures’ Spider-Man: Homecoming has crossed the $300 million mark at the domestic box office, the studio announced today. The film, produced by Marvel Studios and Pascal Pictures, has taken in $682 million worldwide to date with key dates in Japan (today, Aug. 11) and China (Sept. 8) still to come. Spider-Man: Homecoming is the only the fourth film to join the 300 club this year.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is Sony Pictures’ fifth-highest-grossing film domestically of all time.

The sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming is slated for July 5, 2019.

Avengers 4 filming has begun!

Just before the San Diego Comic-Con, directors Anthony and Joe Russo revealed the conclusion of filming on the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War. Now, four weeks later, the brothers are back to reveal that production has resumed on the fourth film with a cheeky Facebook post.
The currently-untitled feature will arrive one year after Avengers: Infinity War and will cap off Marvel Studios’ “Phase Three.”

Cyborg Tone Change Was Part of the Justice League Reshoots

Following the family tragedy of director Zack Snyder, Joss Whedon was chosen to finish the upcoming Justice League film. Joe Morton (Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Eureka) who plays Dr. Silas Stone, father/creator of Victor a.k.a. Cyborg (Ray Fisher) told IGN in an interview that some of the Whedon reshoots changed the tone of the Cyborg character.

When asked about a difference in tone in the reshoots Morton told the site that there wasn’t one for his character. However, he spoke about Fisher’s Victor/Cyborg. He said, “I know that with Ray [Fisher], the young man who plays Victor, there were some adjustments that they made in terms of the tone of that character. I think what I heard was that there was a need from the studio to lighten up the film in a way, that the film felt too dark. I don’t know what that meant in terms of how it actually got translated in terms of the reshoots but that’s what I heard. That’s what I thought some of the reshoots were about.”

JAY-Z’s ‘4:44’ Isn’t Named After the Hotel Where the Solange Elevator Incident Happened, Or Is It?

Shortly after the release of his highly-acclaimed new album, 4:44, JAY-Z provided the backstory for each of the album's 10 tracks.

As it pertains to the album's titular track, JAY-Z wrote the following:


"'4:44' is a song that I wrote, and it's the crux of the album, just right in the middle of the album. And I woke up, literally, at 4:44 in the morning, 4:44 AM, to write this song. So it became the title of the album and everything. It's the title track because it's such a powerful song, and I just believe one of the best songs I've ever written."

If JAY-Z says the album title 4:44 was inspired by the titular track, which itself was inspired by the time on the clock the morning JAY-Z woke up to write the record—so much for JAY-Z mythologically never writing down his rhymes—who are we to call him a liar.

Pacific Rim Uprising Release Date Moves Back

It looks like Gipsy Avenger will have to wait one more month to show the world what she can do as Universal Pictures and Legendary have announced that their Pacific Rim Uprising release date has moved from February 23, 2018 to Friday, March 23, 2018. The sequel’s new date is already quite crowded.

The CW’s 2017 Crossover Premiere Dates Announced

The event will cross all four shows but only takes place across two nights instead of four. Unlike last year when the event began during the closing minutes of Supergirl, The CW’s 2017 crossover will kick off during the girl of steel’s episode on Monday, November 27, with Arrow moving from its Thursday night spot to a special Monday airing for the event.

Supergirl will premiere the event during its usual 8 PM time slot, with Arrow following at 9 PM. The first two episodes will be followed by The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow on Tuesday, November 28 at 8 PM ET and 9 PM ET, respectively.

Ascendant: Next Divergent Chapter to Become Starz Series

Ascendant, which was to be the final chapter in the Divergent series of films, is set to become a series at the premium cable network Starz, according to Deadline. Ascendant was originally set to be released in theaters on June 10, 2017, though back in July of last year, it was reported that the final film would appear in series form.
The three Divergent films have grossed more than $765 million at the global box office and are among Lionsgate’s highest-grossing films domestically outside The Hunger Games and Twilight franchises.

Fantasia 2017: Bitch Review

Director/star Marianna Palka‘s Cannes hit Bitch (which had its Canadian premiere at the 2017 Fantasia Film Festival) is a gritty, animalistic family dramedy with so many underlining emotions and symbols running throughout that it becomes something much more; this movie takes chances and succeeds and more films need to follow its lead.
Bitch opens on a rather sad note with Jill (Palka) trying to hang herself on her dinning room ceiling fan. It doesn’t work and the fan [and her] crash to the floor. Being a strong mother and wife, she continues about her day. Fixing lunches for the kids, saying goodbye to her husband Bill (Jason Ritter) as he leaves for work in the morning. Almost like she wasn’t just moments before suspended by a belt in the dinning room, the shattered remains of the fan still on the floor. It’s not long after this that Jill disappears, leaving Bill in charge of getting the kids to school, making their lunches, picking them up from school, making them dinner, being a father. For lack of a better phrase. He lashes out, he blames Jill for leaving, he hates her for doing this to him even though he doesn’t care about her. He has been cheating with a co-worker at his office. He calls Beth (Jaime King) Jill’s sister to come over and help him while he tries to navigate this whole ordeal. When the kids finally find out where their mother is, it is initially comical, right up until you actually see her: turns out she’s naked in the basement covered in her own feces, howling like a dog.

First Look at Zazie Beetz as Domino in Deadpool 2

The sight of Zazie Beetz as Domino was a sign that the antihero could play a larger role in the follow-up to Ryan Reynolds' superhero comedy Deadpool than originally believed.

To be fair, Beetz looks great as the mutant mercenary, in a costume that might not be entirely true to the character's comic book visual. 

Reynolds is to star along side Josh Brolin as Cable, the time-travelling son of X-Men's Cyclops.
